Patrick Flannelly – aka Omega – Patrick grew up in West Lafayette and is a product of this outstanding community. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and a graduate of Purdue University. For the past eighteen years Patrick has served his community as a full time police officer. He has been a certified Law Enforcement Instructor for over fifteen years and has taught hundreds of officers in numerous areas of specialties, including firearms, SWAT, and other critical performance standards.
Patrick was introduced to CrossFit in 2005 by a fellow SWAT Officer who had been crushing him on SWAT Physical Fitness Standard evaluations. He went to CrossFit.com and has never looked back. Like most CrossFitters, the first WOD was an agonizing, yet humbling, epiphany. At thirty eight he found the fountain of youth and began drinking the CrossFit “Kool-Aid.” His only regret was that he did not discover it sooner.
As a life long fitness enthusiast and nutrition obessionist Patrick quickly realized that CrossFit was a comprehensive, true wellness, lifestyle that had the ability to change lives. Patrick received his CrossFit Level I at Rogue Fitness in 2008 and opened CrossFit West Lafayette, one of the first few Indiana CrossFit Affiliates, in February 2009. “It was a true blessing to receive coaching from some of the CrossFit legends, such as Jon Gilson (Owner of Again Faster), EC Synkowski, Josh Everett, Todd Widman, and Tony Budding. I soaked up all I could and continue to follow their example today.”
For over three years now Patrick has had the honor to coach hundreds of CrossFit enthusiasts and has helped to guide them along the CrossFit path. He is looking forward to the opportunity to share CrossFit with anyone who will listen! (And he likes to talk….)

Kristin has had a great opportunity over the last year+ to work with mothers, fathers, students, teens, and professionals to spread the CrossFit way to gain results. She is a true example of what a commitment to CrossFit can produce no matter what your age. Robert Muratori – CrossFit trainer for over 3 years. Robert was first introduced to CrossFit three years ago by a good friend of his, who told him to do “Fran” at his local gym. In spite of that humbling introduction to CrossFit, Robert has been crossfitting ever since earning Level 1 and Olympic Lift certificates. Robert has participated as a judge at Central East and North Central Regionals, as the 2012 North Central Regional Event Director, and co-chair of Athlete Control at the 2012 CrossFit Games. Changing his diet to Paleo, converting his garage to an enviable CrossFit gym, Robert not only got his wife and kids crossfitting, but members of his new found community too, who come over to do WODs in his garage. Robert could not be more excited and honored to be a member of the CrossFit West Lafayette team.
Nathan Bibler – CrossFit trainer for over 3 years. Nate spent 6 years on active duty as a Marine Infantry Officer. While training with the Marines he was introduced to CrossFit by Todd Widman, currently a member of the CrossFit HQ Seminar Staff. CrossFit was the methodology Nate used to prepare for each of his worldwide deployments. He brings firsthand experience with how CrossFit can strengthen you for the most rigorous environments possible and enable you to excel in them. Nate’s positive experiences with CrossFit make him eager to pass on his knowledge to others looking to live better lives. Nate is married to his beloved wife Deanna and has two children.
Gabriel Albors – CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. After struggling with obesity for many years Gabe found the will within himself to turn his life around. He tried many different workout regimes, from running and power lifting to living room aerobics, but in 2011 he found the fitness program that satisfied his need for competition, community and progress… CrossFit. His passion for fitness led him to turn his garage into a CrossFit gym and began honoring his training skills by doing small group training sessions, obtaining invaluable experience. As his interest for fitness grew, he became more inspired to help others experience the same life changes he has felt since introducing and incorporating true fitness into his own life. He is constantly looking for opportunities to enhance his knowledge and offer more of himself to everyone he comes across. Gabe is looking forward to share his passion with the CrossFit West Lafayette family!
