CrossFit West Lafayette strives to foster a diverse, supportive community interested in bettering the health of its members both physically and mentally. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. In the class setting, the workout is the same for each athlete; however, each athlete works with his or her trainer to set up the workout based on ability to ensure safety, proper form and getting the most from each workout. The group workout of the day, or WOD, enables athletes to compete and push one another to achieve results on a daily basis and develop a great community along the way.
Exercises are meant to be functional, mimicking movements you are already using in daily life. In a WOD, you can expect to do a variety of exercise each day to include metabolic conditioning, gymnastics, and strength training.
